Early Morning on the Palouse

My latest painting that I finally finished. It has been sitting on the easel for 4 months. The colors were actually present in the photo. The sun was very low on the horizon over a canola field. The palouse is an area of vast rolling hills and farm land in eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

This is an 18 x 24, acrylic paint on clayboard. It is finished with medium gel to cut down on the high-gloss sheen of the acrylic. The painting has a matt/pastel look to the finish. You can purchase the painting from Etsy or prints from ImageKind or Artist Rising.
