J(apanese Chin), K(eeshond) and L(eonberger)’s

I’ve added more illustrations to my Cafepress shop: The Japanese Chin, the Keeshond and the Leonberger. They are also available through CKC Embroidery and Dog Mom Dog Designs.

  • The Japanese Chin is a sensitive and intelligent companion breed. Despite their name, the Japanese Chin was developed in China. Historically they were bred for the sole purpose of being a companion to the ladies of the Imperial Palace. The Japanese Chin is bright, alert and a playful breed.
  • The Keeshond is a sturdy dog with a fox-like expression, stand-off coast and richly plumed tail. His coloring is a mixture of gray, black and cream with distinctive “spectacles” markings around his eyes. He is affectionate, good-natured and friendly dog.
  • The Leonberger is a calm, sweet and gentle breed. He excels as a multi-purpose working dog and reliable family companion. They are a friendly dogs that are willing to please, making them excellent therapy dogs.
